In the context of the present suffering, God is saying that all these were happening for a purpose. v.28 Re: the sanctification of those who love him. Therefore the suffering itself is the blessing. However, it is only so to those who love him. In the midst of suffering Because of their love, they trust God. They apply themselves, seeking their place in the fulfillment of Divine purpose, which is growing in the likeness of Jesus. 2. What is the context of v.28?
