One Step | Addiction & Support

Overview

Come celebrate recovery at One Step!

One Step is a ministry to assist those who want to gain victory over life-dominating sin. Alcohol. Drugs. Pornography. Gambling. Food. Depression. Anger … you get the idea. We encourage those attending to bring family and friends.

Please visit our One Step to Freedom Facebook Page to find relevant and current activities.

When We Meet:

Every Friday from 7-9 PM in the KWVE Building Sanctuary, located at 3000 West MacArthur Boulevard, Santa Ana, CA 92704. Childcare is provided.

What to Expect:

Our fellowship offers a light dinner and refreshments as soon as you enter the lobby. Go ahead and grab a bite and get acquainted with others. Then enter the sanctuary for a time of praise and worship. Next is a Bible study that teaches how to implement biblical principles that lead to restoration and wholeness. And to finish up the evening, we gather in small groups to discuss the One Step curriculum (which is freely provided), examining its application, and praying with one another.

What One Step Offers:

One Step is acceptable to a court of law for those on probation for an offense. It is also acknowledged and recommended by The Orange County Bar Association for those 14-21 years of age who need a crime diversion program.

What One Step Teaches:

Pretty much, the Bible is the true syllabus at One Step.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

God desires correction, not punishment. As we look at the Bible we discover that any addiction is a form of idolatry that leads a person astray, entangling and imprisoning them. The only way someone can be set free from this hold is through the power of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind, to heal the brokenhearted, and to set the captive free.

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (John 8:30)

It just takes one step!
