What would it have been like to actually talk with Jesus face to face? What kind of questions might you have asked, and how would He have responded? This week, Pastor Brian begins a new series entitled, "Jesus Encounters," and his first message focuses in on the well-known meeting between Jesus and Nicodemus. Most have heard John 3:16, but what prompted Jesus to say those particular words to this man who, by human standards, followed the law perfectly? Shouldn't he, of all people, be allowed entrance into the kingdom of God? Is being a religious person enough to inherit eternal life?
