Matthew 21:12-16; Mark 11:15-18; and Luke 19:45-48 In this message, Cheryl Brodersen took us back to the Book of Genesis to give us a complete history of the Temple, starting in the garden of Eden and going all the way to Solomon. Throughout it all, God did not change, and His plan for His house to be holy and filled with prayer remains. The Temple was meant to be a foretaste of heaven. But the earthly Temple became corrupt and was ultimately destroyed. However, we learned that God had a plan for His new temple—our hearts—to be indwelt by God, filled with the Holy Spirit, and cleansed by Him. He wants to use us to showcase His glory, grace, love, and acceptance to the world around us.
