Matthew 15:21-28; Mark 7:24-30

In this message, Cheryl Brodersen highlighted the story of Jesus visiting the area of Tyre and Sidon where He met a certain Greek woman whose daughter was severely demon-possessed. Jesus’ response to her was different than one might expect. But through their encounter, we learned the value of faith and persistence in prayer. We were reminded of our need to keep pressing in to Jesus and choosing worship, even before we see the answers to our prayers! Jesus drew out her faith in her place of desperation, and used her prayer and worship to provoke the faith of His disciples as well.
