Pastor Char finished our series with these reminders and a few questions: The Sermon on the Mount is a vision for human flourishing but it is first a call to receive Jesus the King. Will you open yourself to Jesus’ invitation? Whether you are hearing this for the first time or it is a call you’ve heard before, will you turn from whatever else you are preoccupied with and give yourself fully to his plan and his instruction, to his words and ways? Will you make yourself his disciple; will you learn from him and take his yoke on you? Will you enroll in the Jesus school of discipleship? That is the true invitation of this sermon: Follow Jesus the Master.
