Grace, Mercy, and the Merciful

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7

Pastor Brian reminds that, over and over again, the Scripture speaks of the abundant mercy of God. He has extended this mercy toward us, and we in turn are called to be like him and be merciful. Who are we to show mercy to? Anyone and everyone—those we deem “deserving” and those we deem “undeserving.” When we live mercifully, we will be signposts of the kingdom of God to the world around us!
